Thrift Stores & Garage Sales
Now, some of you may be thinking there is no way I’m going to buy used board games… but hear me out. There are SO many times I have purchased board or card games from a secondhand store or garage sale that wasn’t even opened or looked like it had never been touched.
I certainly don’t recommend stocking your vacation rental with games that are clearly falling apart and look like they’ve seen better days. However, I would highly recommend at least scoping out your local thrift stores and garage sales (during the summer months) to see what you come across.
This option is a great one if you are in the process of “stocking up” for your vacation rentals and don’t necessarily need the games immediately.
Amazon
Amazon. Need I say more? Their prices are generally really great, and their shipping is about as fast as you can possibly get.
Walmart
Walmart is probably going to be your most budget friendly option when purchasing games (except of course if you buy them gently used).
Target
We all know Target has everything we need (and then some). This also includes games to stock your Airbnb with.

The best time of year to purchase board and card games if you are buying new is going to be on Black Friday (the Friday after Thanksgiving) and Cyber Monday (the Monday after Thanksgiving).
If you are not opposed to buying your games gently used, the Summer is probably going to be your best bet so that you can scour all of those neighborhood garage sales.
